Goodness

Your association chooses your destination! Who you surround yourself with changes you! There is no way around it. You can tell how a person thinks and what they will become by the people they hang around. You can tell a true Christian by the company they keep. I'm not talking about spending time with sinners to witness, show love, or being in a position to save them like Christ did, but I'm talking about your buddies, your homies, your friends! The people you talk to consistently and the people you pursue for close friendships. Your absolute surroundings do determine who we are. By nature human beings are perceived as good however we have to be taught goodness. İt has to be forged like steel into the essence of our being in the end its what we do with our goodness that we have learnt that determines who we are. God is beautiful. God is goodness and in a world that does hurt or more than good it is right to walk according to his principals because in the end we all know surely GOODNESS and mercy shall follow us for all the days of our lives.

Youth in decision making process

As the night dies away, as the sun embraces the world in a warm hug a new day has come. Grey hearts rise. the world is full of anxiety. The world has been barricaded by hate we need that which can make us feel a part of a world that has done more bad than good to humanity. Young people across the world cry out to be heard. Life is a beautiful tragedy however the future of tomorrow utters in despair, their cries go unheard, the leaders of today have failed and its up to the young people to make a better tomorrow. As the thought crosses every individuals mind, hope is reborn screaming cries of freedom, liberty are heard. The world is anxious for social justice, a free society, anxious for change and social responsibility. However , in order for all this to occur world leaders need to include youths in the decision making process. It is significant to note policies and programmes designed after consultation with users are more likely to be effective , as a result one is bound to conclude using youth participation you are more likely to get it right the first time and avoid wasting time and money on services young people don't want to use. Giving young people a place in decision-making builds a broader base of citizen involvement and creates stronger and more inclusive communities. Youth participation is necessary in the development of active citizenship because it balances young people's social rights with their responsibilities. This is to a larger extent the most effective way to make the youths more active because the more we feel accepted and understood by society , it creates an element that binds the society together. One of the most extraordinary things in this world is being a young leader but its what you do with the opportunity that makes a difference. Youths in decision making process contributes to positive youth development and we have challenges like violence, drug addiction , lack of social responsibility and the primary cause being the youth. In reference to my previous statement its significant to note youth participation and being included in decision making process challenges negative stereotypes of young people and help break down barriers between adults and young people. Involving young people in decision-making can improve attitudes towards understanding about young people and create a greater awareness of youth issues in an organization. “No one is born a good citizen; no nation is born a democracy. Rather, both are processes that continue to evolve over a lifetime. Young people must be included from birth. A society that cuts itself off from its youth severs its lifeline; it is condemned to bleed to death.” —Kofi Annan, Secretary-General of the United Nation. Words from a great man reports from United Nations state that youths in decision making implies a radical change in youth-adult relationships in all spheres of life including the family, schools, local communities, programmes, social services, and local, regional and national government. A commitment to respecting the participatory rights of young people is incompatible with the age-old propensity. It is vital to note giving youth the power in decision making does not necessarily mean we are divorcing power from the adults, including the youth is a sign of social development that can lead and grow to many things such as better decisions and outcomes.

One needful thing

You have no idea how over whelming it is that you are reading this right now there is much that can be done to make the world a far better place.I am in love with change. This is probably something I learnt from Bongani Ncube.A respected Global Change maker who represented Zimbabwe in the world economic forum without his ability to work with an arrogant individual like myself I would have never published my first blog. Oh well lets get started...........I do not wish to change you, I wish to enlighten you with what can lift you from your worldly troubles to the spiritual where anything is possible. The end of one’s life is not knowledge but action, behind every goal, cry of victory and success a question is begged, HOW? The way of life is free and beautiful, a beautiful tragedy one may put and possibly a frightfully fascinating experience. However the earth is rich and has embraced humanity despite our greed and corruption. There is never luck behind success neither do we live in a fairytale. The evolutions of mankind as he boasts the work of his hands can never be associated with magic either. There is but one word. AWESOMENESS!!!! Awesomeness is not something earned, it is a lifestyle. Awesomeness is like Pink sunrises over shimmering seas, cracking storms booming over mountaintops, deep blue’s dimming as the winters freeze, stars twinkling high as your brain just … stops. How high is high, how far does it go, why do clouds smear like that, what makes a rainbow? Yes, it’s a freeing feeling zooming out of your brain and into the unknown — staring up into the sky, as the clouds roll by, way past the trees, deep into the stars, as our spinning world reminds us how small we all are. More than cleverness we need to strive to be awesome, the world lacks greatness because humanity has been poisoned by power , and we have lost the path set out to for us. We have discovered speed, light yet we lack awesomeness. This journey I ask you to take with me equips us with what’s left to achieve greatness and awesomeness.
